3Generate – “Journey of a lifetime”
On the 3rd October 2025, members of St. Giles’ Youth Group met at Newark Castle station for the start of ‘A Journey of a Lifetime’. This was to be the theme of the weekend. Jasmine, Pippa, Molly and Harriet along with leaders Alice and Madeline were travelling to the NEC to attend 3Generate – a Christian weekend festival aimed at children and youth up to the age of 18. Each half day we were given a programme of events. The group decided what they would like to participate in and experience – so much choice. Great fun was had by all, but of course there was much much more to this weekend………..friendships, relationships, independence, socialising with other like minded Christians, exploring what journey God may be taking them. A festival of diversity, inclusivity, spiritual growth and FUN!
