HOLY WEEK
Compline during Holy Week.
For many years it has been the tradition, at St Giles, to say Compline
together during Holy Week. Compline can bring a perfect end to the day. Many use it on a regular basis, just before bedtime.
These prayers are not lengthy and can be offered in just a few minutes.
Before beginning, allow yourself a time of quiet, emptying out all the tensions and concerns of the past day and shifting the focus of your attention back to God.
Then the sign of the cross can be made silently before starting the spoken prayers.
We will be using liturgy from Celtic Daily Prayer for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
